We awoke early and walked out onto the beach hoping to catch a few more rays of tropical sun but it wasn't to be. Thickening clouds were blocking the sun. When a few drops began to fall we returned to our room and packed up -- our vacation was coming to an end.
Last night we helped Rachel celebrate her 60th birthday at one of the hotel restaurants. It was a lovely dinner and though our company was smaller than planned we had a fun time with great food and drink and lively conversation.

Our vacation was over too quickly. We spent a lovely five days in the warm sunshine of Puerto Rico. Though this was our first trip here, we vowed in wouldn't be our last. We want to return, spend more time and get to really know the country and the people of this Carribbean gem.
